Non-volatile
chemical agents
For detection and identification of low-volatile CWAs, the system can be introduced into
a narrow urban environment. For monitoring the release of other agents in these
complex environments, the system can be operated without heating, resulting in
prolonged battery life.
Volatile
chemical agents
The proposed device has the exact size and weight to be effectively integrated onto
any UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle), to scan a large geographical area in case of
apparent emergency. In order to support source localization, dedicated algorithms will
be developed.
Non-volatile
biological agents
The unique inlet configuration of the proposed device allows it to be used for accurate
and sensitive BWA identification on different surfaces. Therefore, it is preferably
mounted in a vehicle for rapid response activity.
